FAQ
Your questions answered
Can you give me an example of a psychometric test?
Common examples include interest inventories (which work activities you enjoy), aptitude tests (numerical, verbal, logical and spatial reasoning), personality questionnaires (how you tend to work and interact) and learning-style tools. A good career assessment for Class 11–12 combines several of these, so the result reflects more than one side of the student.
Can I fail a psychometric test?
Not in a career assessment. There are no pass or fail marks — interest and personality sections have no right answers, and aptitude sections simply show your relative strengths. The best way to take one is to answer honestly and without overthinking, because the aim is an accurate picture of you, not a high score.
How can I choose my career test?
Choose a test that suits your stage — for Class 11–12, one that covers interests, aptitude and personality and links the results to courses, careers and entrance routes. Check that it is scientifically designed, that a qualified counsellor explains the report, and that parents are involved for students under 18. Avoid quick quizzes that give a single job title.
